…is the greatest, day I’ve everyknown.
Not really, but that just popped into my head when I wrote the title. (Two points if you know how it got into my head).
I spent the day with my good friend Phat Rok. His church was in a similar place when he started on staff there as mine is now. We talked about Youth Ministry strategies and encouraged each other in our discouragment with the consistency of behavior that we see in young people today. We ate chinese food, we did some initial planning for the 2007 FCYC, and we had a good time. Phat Rok is one of the most technically deficient people I know, so while they had wifi there at the church, he had no idea what the WEP key was (or even what one was). In fact, he misplaced his actual keys when we went to lunch, so I know he has misplaced his WEP key.
Hope your day was as good as mine, and hopefully more productive. Tomorrow starts the second month of the new year. I still haven’t gotten blogging into a daily habit yet, but I am getting better. If I am more awake after the basketball game tonight, I will share some of my thoughts from this weekend/today, otherwise, see you tomorrow.
